Is there an age limit or minimum age to participate?

Yes, there is an age limit for adult Spartan events.

The minimum age to race in an adult Spartan event is 14 in the U.S.A, Canada and the U.K. 

The racer must be 14 years of age on race day to participate in the adult events with no exceptions.

The maximum age is 99 in the continental U.S.

Any racers caught with underage racers on the course will be removed from the course and will not be given a refund.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL Ultra and Endurance Event (HH, HH12HR, Agoge, etc.) participants must be 18.
