The Mission of the Spartan Race Volunteer is to:
- Create an awesome experience for racers and spectators
- Create a safe experience for racers and spectators
- Educate racers and spectators
- Enforce obstacle rules for the racers as fairly as possible
- Assist the staff as its “eyes” on the course
DO provide verbal encouragement to racers
DO NOT provide physical assistance to racers or say mean things
DO check in and out from your shift with the Volunteer Coordinator
DO NOT leave your zone without notifying your zone leader beforehand
DO leave your waiver with the volunteer coordinator when you check-in
DO NOT leave your half-eaten sandwich on the volunteer coordinator's table
DO enjoy your time as a volunteer. Our staff and racers greatly appreciate you!
